On 6 November 2013, the building of the Lombardy Region hosted an event open to the media and the public, at which the scientific results of the project were presented. This was also an opportunity to officially introduce FRIDa, the standardised food image database, produced by the research team led by Raffaella Rumiati of SISSA. Thanks to the FRIDa images, Rumiati’s group has been able to test people’s response to natural or processed food, for example, by also observing how food colours affect preferences. The event also hosted a play area featuring several interactive Foodly quiz stations.
